I have been bored of listening to the never ending debate and speculation about the Indo US nuke deal.Personally i have left it to the almighty to decide if such a deal will happen or not.We are an amazing country and nobody will disagree with me in this but hey wait i ll tell you something else too which we all will agree with.The politics in our country is amazing and can give any prime time K soap a run for its money because the drama just goes on and on.Dont you i think i should add an extra ‘on’.This political drama over the nuke deal has engrossed me,believe me i have been going through a myriad of emotions all thanks to our political parties changing stance on the nuclear deal.So lets start with Congress because all credit goes to the Congress for it spearheaded this deal or no deal.The Congress is incompetent,indecisive and the whole speculation over the deal started because of its nonsense attitude about the deal.Until recently the whole party was not in support of the PM’s urgent call to finish the deal.Hmm well i think he was a bit too late in letting the urgency attached to the nuclear deal seep through him.But now that he has finally woken up my criticism should have a full stop too.Talking about Behenji gives me immense pleasure for it is seldom that we see a leader pitting a state against the national interests.Deal or no deal what Behenji want is that a future alliance of SP and Congress dare not get a share of muslim votes in UP.To ensure this she has gone on record saying the nuke deal is anti muslim.I could have given her full points for this masterstroke had it not been the Left who first came up with the idea.Kudos to the Left front for coming up with such brilliant imagination.Well the left had no choice but to invent this absurd preposition because with Congress touting the deal as being of paramount national interest it had to present some explanation for its decision of withdrawing support from the government.According to the left the deal is pro America.The left is a pro at diplomacy. For the simple reason that the deal would place India at a level somewhere near China in terms of nuclear capabilities,the left has to oppose the deal but for survival it has termed its loyality towards China as Anti Americanism.
I have often read articles about the alienation of muslims in our country and wondered if something like this actually exists.First it was SP,then left and now BSP along with a handful of muslim clerics who have propagated the whole anti muslim theory about the deal.Muslim voice is nowhere to be heard instead we have too many self proclaimed spokespersons speaking on behalf of the country few of them care to know.Playing the religion card is not new in our country but what happens i the process is an increasing hostility towards hindus and muslims.Muslims are as much a part of this country as any other community but muslim vote counts much more is the general perception in all the parties.
It is ironical that while it is in our country that we have parties officially known as secular parties and a few others which are communal.The whole politics since ages thrive on this secular Vs communal divide.Now this is how secularism has been defined in Wikipedia:

But the definition are politicians have of secular is :’anything and everything which is pro muslim is secular’.
It is widely known that Mulayam Singh alias SP was opposed to the nuke deal,the reason was simple it was Congress’ call and so there was no way SP could agree to it.The political compulsions rather than a counter measurement of pros n cons of the deal justified SP’s new found love for the nuke deal.The justification for the deal was funny.He got the missile man to endorse the nuclear deal.But then what else can you expect from him but his innocence is charming.No one can expect him to understand the ins and outs of the deal including himself and so he got Dr.Kalam’s approval for the deal as his own.
We must understand that each party seeks to fulfill its own vested interest no matter whether it opposes the deal or supports it.Now the onus lies on us to be intelligent enough to survive the manipulative attempts by various parties.Remember we the people form the foundation of democracy.It is important for us to exercise our mind and decide what is good for us.We are the nation.
